Despite the advent of Advanced Planning Systems, it is ultimately a human decision maker that decides on the plan or schedule. While decision support systems have been focused on improving the performance on the planned process, in this study we focus on the efficiency of the planning process itself. My vision is to improve efficiency of the human planner by a factor 10 in 10 years.
